University at Albany Hillel is an organization dedicated to empowering students to develop strong Jewish identities through creative self-expression. Our mission is to enrich the lives of Jewish students so that they may enrich the Jewish people and the world. We envision a world where every student is inspired to make an enduring commitment to Jewish life, learning, and Israel.

The friends I've made and the experiences I've had at UAlbany are primarily due to my involvement in Hillel and the greater Jewish community. The Hillel Executive Board, Staff, and Fellows work closely with all students to plan great events and activities, both on and off campus, that cater to all Jewish identities. To anyone hesitant to attend their first event, my advice is to take the chance, I guarantee you'll love it!

Hillel has been the center of my growth at UAlbany. Between learning through leadership opportunities and looking to staff as life mentors, Hillel made a profoundly positive impact on my time at UAlbany. My freshmen self learned, and developed into the holistic graduate I am now. I feel more in touch with my Judaism and am ready for the real world. I can attribute much of that to Hillel.
